
One of the wastes that we waste the most worldwide is food, known as “organic waste”. Approximately a third of the food is thrown away by not being consumed in restaurants, by expiring in supermarkets or by not being sold at market streets. And it is not just food that goes to waste, but energy, labor, irrigation water, and all the resources that went into growing it.
